Typical faults and symptoms
These symptoms can have different causes. The module reference and diagnostic checks help confirm the fault and assess the repair.
Internal ABS / ESP error
Diagnostics reports a fault in the electronic unit. Its exact meaning and repair depend on the part reference.
No pressure or fluid at one wheel
Testing or bleeding reveals no pressure or flow at an outlet. Hydraulic block valves may be obstructed; the rest of the circuit must also be checked.
Wheel remains braked
Pressure does not release after the pedal is released. The block valves and other components in that wheel’s circuit are checked.
Pressure sensor fault
Incorrect pressure reading or electrical fault. Depending on the system, the sensor may be inside the block or fitted externally.
No diagnostic communication
The unit does not respond or loses CAN communication. Power supply, grounds and wiring are checked before repair.
